  • The cost involved to build a laneway home varies depending on its size, finishing materials, and municipality permit fees. Contact us today to get a FREE price quote for your lot.

    • Ability to have family members close to home, especially as children are getting older and want to have their own place but are having trouble affording property in Vancouver.

    • Great for parents who may be downsizing which allows them to rent out the main house for supplemental income, or vice versa rent the laneway house for additional income.

  • Approximate time for permitting is about 3 to 6 months. After permits are issued the approximate time for construction is 6 to 8 months.

  • You can build a laneway house in the following cities.

    The City of Burnaby is in the process of allowing laneway houses. Formal Approval is still pending in Burnaby. 

  • Yes, you can continue to live in the main house the entire time during construction. We can make temporary walkways as required so that you can continue to live in your home and complete day to day tasks.
